The purpose of using CAM is to bring out the machine tool's capabilities in order to produce the best machining results.

Minimization of Hand Finishing
Smooth toolpaths are generated for machining multiple curved surfaces.When applied to the finish machining process, approach motions are minimized in pursuit of polishing-free machining.

Specified edges are finished to sharply defined corners.
For example, the corner edge function is useful for machining the parting edge.

Reduction of mold adjustment
FFAUT generates toolpaths accurately to the workpiece geometry.
Together with the use of a high-accuracy machine tool, this function assists in the elimination of adjustments to lap the parting faces.
Connector mold
Corners can be machined directly with a small diameter (0.3 mm radius) ball end mill.
